RE: Arcade Cabinet
Well tilt I messed up my Target Tron toy. Tried to dremel out the screen area only to have the side of the dremel touch the edge of the cab and gouge it out. Arrgghh.

RE: Arcade Cabinet
Any updates on this cool arcade mod? I would love to make one for my TRON.

Have you given some thought about where you can redirect the scoop flash from the current model into your model? maybe in the marquee, or maybe lightup the control panel beneath the screen with a small rectangular window to see the flash...

Amazing work so far! Is the code complete now? Thanks.

RE: Arcade Cabinet
Still waiting for my LE to be delivered. Hopefully this week...

I've thought about the flasher solutions you suggest, but I'm also considering drilling a hole on top and poking a UV 555 LED through there. It's not authentic, but might be the easiest and most useful position.

RE: Arcade Cabinet
I've heard they decided to do a lot more QC on them before they ship so hopefully you shouldn't have any issues like we all did.

RE: Arcade Cabinet
Hey Tilt,
Would you be interesting in selling a programed uOLED screen if we want to mod our existing cabs?

Hey man, if you really want the OLED screen, I'll gladly program you one, but give me 24 hours to work on getting the LCD into the Stern cabinet. See what you think. My game arrived yesterday, and I'm going to try to "polish the turd." It's a remarkable fit -- it makes me think someone at Stern had this screen in mind somewhere along the design process.

Eli, how goes the attract mode?

RE: Arcade Cabinet
Thanks man. I saw on of the guys who got Eli's bigger LCD in the factory stern cabinet. It looks ok but I just can't get over the uglyness of the factory arcade toy.
Here is a vid of the guy that Eli helped out:

I would be interested in seeing both versions you have but let me know either way.
